Cast announced for Bay Street's production of "Dial 'M' for Murder" at Bay Street:

Casting has been announced for Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts' upcoming production of Frederick Knott's 1950s murder mystery Dial "M" for Murder. 

Adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher and directed by Walter Bobbie, previews will begin at Bay Street June 27 prior to an official opening July 1. 

The cast will feature Mamie Gummer, Rosa Gilmore, Erich Bergen, Max Gordon Moore, and Reg Rogers.

Dial “M” for Murder, made famous by Alfred Hitchcock’s 1954 film, follows Tony, who suspects wife Margot—a wealthy socialite—is having an affair. As he plots to have her killed, the tension grows.

The creative team also includes scenic designer Anna Louizos, costume designer Jeff Mahshie, lighting designer Donald Holder, sound designer Dan Moses Schreier, fight director Thomas Schall, dialect coach Deborah Hecht, casting director Calleri Jensen Davis, and props designer Nicole Rozanski with antiques by Wyeth and assistant direction by Stefanie Anarumo. The production stage manager is Melissa Sparks.

Performances will continue at the Sag Harbor, New York, venue through July 23.
