Topdog/Underdog and The Piano Lesson nominated for 2023 Tony Awards:

2023 Tony nominations are in, with Some Like It Hot becoming the most nominated musical of the season with 13 nods. Ain't No Mo', A Doll's House, and Leopoldstadt shared the mantle of the most nominated plays with six each. See the full list of nominations below.

Six categories were announced on CBS Mornings by 2022 Tony winner Myles Frost and Funny Girl star Lea Michele. After, the two read the full announcement in a live stream from Sofitel New York. You can watch Frost and Michele's announcement above.

The top categories saw Ain't No Mo', Between Riverside and Crazy, Cost of Living, Fat Ham, and Leopoldstadt nominated for Best Play. & Juliet, Kimberly Akimbo, New York, New York, Shucked, and Some Like It Hot receiving nods for the much-anticipated Best Musical.

Winners will be named at a starry ceremony June 11 at United Palace Theatre in Washington Heights. The evening will kick off with The Tony Awards: Act One, a 90-minute pre-show of live and exclusive content set to stream for free on Pluto TV beginning at 6:30 PM ET. Hosts and further details are to be announced. The main awards ceremony, hosted by West Side Story Oscar winner Ariana DeBose, will follow beginning at 8 PM ET, broadcasting live on CBS (check local listings) and streaming live (for premium-level subscribers) via Paramount+. All Paramount+ subscribers will have on demand access to the broadcast beginning June 12.
